Data Extraction from a table

I’m having trouble with DataSnipper when trying to extract a table from page 68 of this annual report: https://s25.q4cdn.com/626766191/files/doc_financials/2023/ar/final-ars14.pdf The data isn’t coming out right; it’s all misaligned and messy. Has anyone else run into this issue? If you have a moment, could you try extracting that table using DataSnipper and let me know if it works for you? If you’re able to get a clean extraction, I’d really, really appreciate it if you could email it to me; that would save me a lot of time. Thanks so much! charlie.hannah.simmons@gmail.com

Turn Off Search Feature

We had an issue I saw many previously submitted suggestions about a while back where when you have an imported file which has many, many zeroes in it, the search feature will temporarily freeze up the workbook because it is trying to find every zero in the whole file when you click on a cell that has a zero in it. I found the following online: To turn off the search feature in DataSnipper, you can access the "Workbook Settings" within the DataSnipper add-in in Excel, where you should find an option to disable automatic data snip suggestions, effectively turning off the automatic search functionality when selecting cells in your spreadsheet; this is usually where you can control the behavior of the search feature depending on your needs. This does turn off the Table Snip Suggestions for the workbook but did not turn of the automatic search functionality for us. Has anyone been able to get this feature to work as described in the post I found?

FSS error: "selected zip file is not valid FSS project file"

I get this error when I open the FSS project. The file is not zipped. Anyone else?

Comments on Word Files

When a Microsoft Word file is imported which has comments included, it reduces the size of the main text page on the PDF and prevents some snips from being performed to the right side of the page. Is there a way to import a Word file that has comments included without these comments being included on the PDF in DataSnipper? I have found a workaround to eliminate these comments on a PDF version of the Word file created prior to importing into DataSnipper.

Disabling Datasnipper add-in in excel

On our team, we have identified a widespread issue with the DataSnipper plugin disabled. Every time we open a new Excel file we must activate the add-in from the Excel settings, the add-in does not remain active.

Bug on OCR

There is bug on OCR, DataSnipper OCR is not functioning well, whenever a document is uploaded to snip, it does not recognize the text and it brings this pop up which says that “there is no internet connection contact your IT admin” meanwhile there is. This issue is currently happening to myself and my colleagues at work.

Financial Statements Suite review of results process

Using the financial statements suite to call & cast accounts has significantly reduced the time our junior staff have to spend on this task which has been a great benefit.
