Firm-wide Custom Tickmarks

The answer here would be yes, but I would expect to change the default ones instead, so that users are allowed to have their own custom ones if needed.

Not exactly - we are ok with the regular default tickmarks, but we would like to add a few of our own and have these be consistent for all users. For example, I am using custom tickmarks ‘WP’ in red and blue in internal consistency to note that a number has been cross-referenced to a workpaper. I would like to distribute these to all users.

As an additional issue, is there a way to make tickmarks more than 2 characters? We have some frequently used workpaper references we would like to setup as custom tickmarks, but these run to 5 characters or 8 if using the format ‘WP xx.xx’.

In that case, you should be able to follow the exact same steps as above, just don’t “mess” with the list of tickmarks that already exist in the CSV and append new rows for each additional custom tickmark.

Then just make sure to fill in the columns (the colour column is confusing sometimes to some users, but if you notice it’s just the hex codes for red/blue so you can copy that).

Onto the matter of your question, the limit is 3 characters for the display symbols on the page. The name/label can be lengthier (up to 10 iirc), but not the display symbol.
